Jackson residents have for a long time expressed a desire for more grocery stores in their city. This week, their wish will come true.
Aldi’s new store at 2502 E. Jackson Blvd. will host a grand opening tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 7) and is offering a sneak peek today.
During today’s sneak peek, all of Aldi’s products are on the shelves and customers may purchase whatever they wish before the store officially opens tomorrow.
At 8:15 a.m. tomorrow morning, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Customers will be allowed to enter the store about 8:45 following the ceremony.
As part of the grand opening, Aldi is offering a chance to win a $500 gift card. From Dec. 7 through the Dec. 10, look for the signs inside the store, scan the code and enter your details for a chance to win.
The first 100 customers on Dec. 7 will receive a golden ticket that could be worth up to $100. An ALDI employee will hand out laminated numbered cards.
No purchase is necessary to win the gift card or prizes with a golden ticket, but you must be 18 or older to participate, and there is a limit of one entry per person or household.
On Dec. 7, the first 100 customers will also receive a bag of Aldi goodies. An Aldi employee will hand out a free eco-friendly bag stuffed with Aldi products.
Also on Dec. 7, look for an Aldi employee to receive your free Aldi shopping tote. Quantities are limited.
Aldi is one of America’s fastest growing retailers, serving millions of customers across the country each month. With nearly 2,000 stores across 36 states, Aldi was on track to become the third-largest grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022.
Aldi offers shoppers a selection of Aldi-exclusive brands. More than 90% of store products are Aldi brands.
Since 2018, Aldi has increased product selection by 20%, including a 40% increase in fresh food offerings. Aldi also offers a weekly rotating selection of “Aldi Finds.” These are nearly 100 items offered for a limited time, and they range from premium food and household items based on the season.
Aldi may carry a national brand if it is not able to procure an exclusive brand product that meets or exceeds the quality and taste of the national brand.
After tomorrow, Aldi will be open regular hours, which will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
