Hi, what are you looking for?

Strawberry Poke Cake

  • 2 boxes of White cake mix
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.)
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
  • Homemade whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 2 lbs. strawberries (sugared and sliced)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees for a glass pan or 350 for an aluminum pan. Combine ingredients in mixing bowl and pour into 9 x 13 pan. Or, if you prefer a thinner cake use an 11x 15 pan. We actually prefer a larger pan. If using a 9 x 13 pan it may need to cook about 35-40 minutes. Larger pans will require less baking time. After cake cools, poke holes in the cake and let cool. Pour topping over the cake evenly. Garnish with whipped cream and strawberries before serving. (Serves 10-12)
