She was actively involved in the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the Jackson Noon Optimist Club, and the former Franciscan Program. She had a special passion for animals, wildlife, and nature, often contributing and volunteering to benefit such charities.

A lifelong Catholic, Diane was a dedicated, longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson and when Patrick passed away, she assumed his role in attending weekly Perpetual Adoration in the chapel at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Diane was generous and thoughtful and was a dedicated homemaker. She loved her children dearly and was very proud of them.
