High School Girls Swimming and Diving: Jackson diver Hadley Wyatt breaks record

The Jackson girls swimming and diving team had one of its underclassmen break a program record during  a tri-meet on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Westminster.

This was none other than sophomore Hadley Wyatt, who broke the program’s record in the six-dive event. Wyatt did so with a score of 258.55, which was only .05 better than the previous record held by her sister and 2019 graduate Riley Wyatt.

Wyatt finished in second place in the event behind Westminster junior Margo O’Meara, who is already a two-time Class 1 State Champion and holds the state record in diving.

Wyatt’s dive score has officially qualified her to compete in this year’s Class 2 State Meet, which will be her second-straight year competing at state.
