On Sunday, the Jackson football and boys soccer programs held individual ceremonies at their respective fields to distribute personalized state championship rings and pullovers celebrating the 2020 fall season.
The Indians football team won their first-ever state title by finishing the season 14-0 after defeating Platte County 42-7 for the Class 5 State Championship.
Jackson’s boys soccer team went 19-3 overall and beat St. Dominic 1-0 in overtime of the Class 4 final to win its first state championship.
