Notre Dame boys soccer hands Jackson second loss

For the third season in a row last Wednesday night at Notre Dame, the Bulldogs boys soccer team took down SEMO Conference rival Jackson.

With the 4-1 rout, Notre Dame (12-10) handed the Indians (17-2) just their second loss of the season. Bulldogs junior Connor Adams registered a game-high two goals and dished out one assist.

Scoring goals along with Adams for Notre Dame were senior Diego Chahin and freshman Trenton Powell, while senior Bryce Sides came up with three assists.

As for Jackson, this was the second time junior goalkeeper Braden Thompson has allowed four goals in one game this season. The other match the Indians were scored on four times was in their only other loss, which came to Lindbergh (17-5) in a 4-0 shutout on Sept. 13 at home.
