2024 All-CBJ Team: Oak Ridge’s Reagan Howe

After a record-setting 2023-24 campaign, Oak Ridge junior Reagan Howe rightfully became the fourth female Bluejay to be named to the All-CBJ Team.

Howe is also the first Oak Ridge non-senior to earn All-CBJ honors since 2022 graduate Paige Glueck did as a sophomore back in 2020.

Howe first helped the Bluejays volleyball team reach its first district championship match in recent memory. She was also one of the 30 players in Class 1 to be named all-state.

In the winter, Reagan led the Oak Ridge girls basketball team to its first-ever district title game and most wins in program history with an overall record of 16-12. Howe was named all-district and to two separate all-conference teams.

Even though she has one more school year of high school sports, Howe will continue her athletic career at Mineral Area College.

If Reagan were to give advice to younger athletes, it would be, “Not to underestimate their potential just because they don’t have as much experience in a sport. If you really want to be successful and love the game, anything holding you back is only mental.”
