Diana Johnson

Diana Rose Johnson, 63, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at her home in Jackson.

She was born June 20, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Henry C “Clem” and Dora Schaefer Koehler.

Diana worked as a machine operator at Mondi for many years. Her true passion and light of her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Loving survivors include three children, Darin (Pam) Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Nickie Farrar of Altenburg, and Kristen “K.J.” Overy of Jackson; 11 grandchildren, Madison Brethold of Burfordville, Bryan Johnson of Tampa, FL, Morgan and Mason Hiett of Cape Girardeau, Raelynn Farrrar, Elizabeth Farrar, Danyel Farrar, Trey Farrar all of Altenburg and Levi Shoulders of Bushton, KS, Zachery and Cameron Overy of Jackson; a great granddaughter Skyler Hackler; two step children Daugn Johnson and Erik Johnson both of Lakeland FL; former husband Larry Johnson of Jackson.

Also surviving are four siblings, Mary Ann (Jim) Cotner of Bowling Green, Kenneth (the late Carol) Koehler of Springville, TN, Phyllis (the late Terry) Dunn of Austell, Georgia and Roger (Margie) Koehler of Buchanan, TN; and one sister in law Shirley Koehler of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Dora Koehler, a brother, Tom Koehler and a granddaughter, MaKayla Overy.

Visitation was Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, from 11 a.m. until service time at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service was at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at the funeral home with Rev. Tony Dunn officiating.

A private interment will be held at a later date in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to McCombs Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
